Electrical tape, high-pressure tape, and black tape are all types of tape. However, although the three types are similar, they are still different, and the main differences are reflected in the following aspects:
1.Functionally
(1) Electrical tape (PVC electrical flame retardant tape), which has three functions: insulation, flame retardant, and waterproof;
(2) High-pressure adhesive tape has three functions: insulation, flame retardant, and waterproof. It is better than PVC electrical flame retardant tape in water resistance;
(3) Insulating black tape has only insulation function, but it is not flame retardant or waterproof.
2. Ductility:
(1) Electrical tape, because it is made of PVC, has poor ductility and cannot be wrapped tightly.
(2) High-pressure tape with good ductility.
(3) Insulating black tape has almost no ductility.
3. Application
(1) Electrical tape is widely used in various fields.
(2) High-voltage tape is generally used for higher-grade voltage, but because its strength is not as good as PVC electrical flame retardant tape, these two are usually used in combination.
(3) Insulating black tape has been gradually phased out, and only some people are still using it in the electrical of some civil buildings.
